ACE Save System [RMXP]

This script provides a new save interface for the player. Along with a new interface, the player can also load and delete saves straight from the menu itself. This will in turn make the save command from the Main Menu always available, but the save option within the new save menu will be enabled depending on whether or not it is allowed or disallowed. From the interface, the player is given more information regarding the save file including the the location the player saved at, the amount of gold available, and any variables that you want to show the player as well.

Requires the script ‘Scene_Base‘ v1.5 or higher
Requires the script ‘Scene_MenuBase‘ v1.00 or higher

  2. Hello, I really like your save script! However I have encountered an bug. After I save for a second time the text decreases in size, and continues to do so after each save. Is this a problem on my part?

  4. Hey there. I found a bug when I implemented this script. The characters displayed on the save file do not correspond with the characters actually being saved. I have not yet changed anything in the game’s database, and it is displaying the following characters for me on your save system (the original does show the correct ones): Aluxes, Cyrus, Estelle, and Gloria.

    Also, 2 tips/remarks:
    1. I can’t seem to write something at the locations of Fishing Lv. etc.
    2. It’d be nice if the cursor would be at the 1st index rather than the last when pressing Continue.

  5. Hi, I’me creating an event Title screen et when i launch your menu I can save my game (on title screen) I would like to prevent from saving at this moment, is there a way?

  6. Hi, I have the two same problems as Joey van Gangelen and Malus: The characters in the save menu aren’t the same as they should be and when I hire more than two heroes the game crashes. And when I launch the load menu in my custom title screen, the player can save his game on the map “Title Screen”. I really need help!
