This script allows you to make events that will chase the player or flee from the player when the player enters within range of the event or when the event sees the player.
Still no script updates yet, but here’s another warrior engine script for ya’ll. I was bored so I created this script for anyone that finds this useful. This scripts purpose is to displays the event’s name above it’s head.

Sometime later I’ll be add two installments to this script to give some actually use.
- Add a background to the event name and add a option to use it or not.
- Add a way so that the event name only appears when the actors steps away otherwise it doesn’t appear.
While there’s probably a lot of scripts out there that does this now, I still felt the need to make my own. This is primarily due to the fact that those scripts tend to make it difficult on life when an improper map ID, event ID, or page ID is inputted (and therefore, prevents the script from working) and causing the game to crash as a whole. This script, working exactly as those would, will prevent the game from crashing if improper ID’s are used. Furthermore, if the user is in test play, there is an option for the game to pop up a window telling which map ID’s, event ID’s, and page ID’s don’t work.
